I have a lot in common with Oprah Winfrey. We know how to get through a Chicago winter. We have an affinity for truffle-flavored things. We both test products all year long to compile our favorites—me, through Cosmopolitan's beauty awards, and her, through Oprah's Favorite Things, the annual list of all the best products she's used this year that she'd give away as gifts. And! Through 2025's Oprah's Favorite Things list, I discovered we're both obsessed with Cyklar's body care.
Cyklar, created by long-time creator Claudia Sulewski, is all about luxurious bodycare formulas in thoughtfully designed packaging (both aesthetically and sustainably). And most all products are infused with beautiful scents from all families, from gourmands to woodsy to citrus. I test the best perfumes for a living, and these measure up.
Oprah specifically is in love with the brand's holiday sets. “I kept hearing about lymphatic drainage, so I was intrigued by this set with bodywash, rich moisturizing cream, and a resin contouring tool that helps release tension while supporting circulation," she said. "Whether you choose vanilla, bergamot, or santal, it’s a full-body reset in a box.”
Lemme wax poetic real quick. Cyklar's body wash is easily my favorite I tested in 2025. The gel formula is surprisingly hydrating, thanks to a mix of glycerin, sodium PCA, and argan oil. It lathers up to a lovely foamy consistency that's easy to spread all over, whether you wash with your hands or use an exfoliating mitt or washcloth. Once I rinse off, my skin still feels soft and lightly fragranced—it's not so heavy that it lingers forever, but I get gentle whiffs of the vanilla scent on my skin right after. The body cream is a fantastic way to make this scent last, though. I slather it all over my skin while it's still damp. Prickly pear water, squalane, and niacinamide quickly hydrate skin without leaving a greasy residue behind. Fun fact: It actually won Best Scented Body Cream in our Holy Grail Beauty Awards for 2025.
The body lotion is perfect to pair with the included Body Contour Tool, a (let's be real, gorgeous) way to help massage your skin and aid in lymphatic drainage without heading to the spa. I've done fancy in-office lymphatic drainage, and it's my key to feeling and looking my best before a special event. But with this tool, I can easily do it at home for a sustained result. I just swipe on a thick layer of body cream, then glide the tool over my skin toward my lymph nodes (behind your knees, between your inner thighs, in your armpits, and at your clavicle). It feels super good, especially if you sit at a desk all day and are due for a rub-down.
There are three sets depending on your vibe scent-wise. Vanilla Verve is my go-to if you like a sweet scent. But don't worry—it's an elegant, warm sweetness. Nothing sickly. There's also Sacred Santal, a soft wood that's creamy and smooth, as well as Bergamot Bond for anyone who wants a rush of bright citrus.
Just look at them too. They look so nice sitting together on my vanity. And knowing that I've got the same set as Oprah? Hella special. I wonder which scent is her fave...
